Yoga for weight loss and leg strength is an intermediate class. Estie Kalter requested yoga for weight loss and Charity Rogers requested leg strengthening…Thank you both for your requests. This class is challenging and has some parts that are more vigorous…almost breathless balanced with some slower parts to help burn calories. If you would like to lose weight, this is one part of the process. Another part has to do with diet. I find that when I eat a lot of protein (I stick to fish, eggs and rice/hemp/pea protein powder) along with organic fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds. I have a sweet tooth, but I try to limit the amount of sugar that I eat. I'm also intolerant to gluten but I don't eat a lot of "gluten free" processed foods because in general, processed foods aren't that healthy…especially here in the US.

As always, please listen to your body and rest when you need to rest. Push the pause button any time you want a break.
